Pottermore Day 6 Release Time

For Day 6 of the Magic Quill, the Magic Quill will be released between 1:30 PM and 4:00 PM British Standard time. This will be the second to last (out of 7 days) where you will be able to obtain early access to Pottermore.

There has also been confusions as to what 1:30PM to 4PM (or whatever time) may mean. It means that the clue will be released some point between the two times. It They can choose to release it at 2:00PM, or even 3:45PM. We don’t know the exact time, but we know the general timeframe. The time for Day 6 may be a little difficult for some, so you should see Day 7 Release Time as well.

    had trouble with my submission last night, couldnt see clue untill 3:20am, refreshing every 20 mins from 1:20 am dont know what that was, but then when i did the answer thing i couldnt see the quill page cos the spots had been filled, did the whole page has vanished thing… :/

    hopefully this evening then 🙂 fingers crossed

  3. Hi, the time information is correct for me. I am on PDT. However isn’t BST, British Summer Time (or GMT +1), not GMT?

    • U do realize that if it’s between 5:30 and 8, your r going 2 hav 2 get up earlier then 7, duhh!!!

    • Or they live in a different time zone than you, so they do have to get up at 7. Duh.

    • Anna’s country time frame is obviously different than yours. For her it may start at 7:30 or 8:00. It starts at 7:30 for me.

  9. 12:34pm for me right now, its corect, if its GMT+1 then that will be 9 hours behind me i believe as i am GMT +10 Brisbane time anyone wanna help me out by telling me if im correct, means i will see it at 11:30pm? Australian eastern standard time?

    • yer your right.im in melbourne and british time is 9 hours behind us so you would be an hour in front of me so your times would be 11:30pm til 2am i’m pretty sure 🙂

  15. Time is correct for my zone, got in today but the blocker wouldn’t let me past the pottermore website (i was on at work). I will try from home tomorrow. 5:30 AM huh?

  18. The time is right for me, so does it mean it goes from 10:30pm til 1am in Australia?? Its all so confusing for everybody argh

    • It will be released sometime between 10:30 PM and 1 AM, but we don’t know the exact time. It could just be 30 minutes between 11:30PM and 12:00AM, or 11:00PM to 11:30PM. We don’t know the exact time, but we know the general timeframe.

  27. I got in last night (day 4), both me and my little brother did. Also one of my mates got up at 5am on the first day to enter!! And another of my mates got in on day 4. Soo we’re all pretty lucky xx

  45. I’ve heard they were going by book, like day 5 was Order of the Phoenix. 7 days, 7 books, 7 questions. Each day, a different question will be a question from each one of the books. And I’m waiting for it to come up right now for me… 😐

  47. I am in Canda therefore EST, 8:41 AM here, so I should be allowed in. It keeps saying Sorry, Day 5 registration is closed. Is this normal?

  54. My time is correct with yours. I’ve been checking all morning, and I just noticed it released at about 9:00a.m.

    And of course, the page has already vanished.

  61. OMG i just got in!! the time is right for Iowa, by the way. (Iowa is in the central part of the United States)

  65. I answered the clue and got the magic quill and registered and everything!! So why havent I got my email yet!!! I registered within 5 minutes of Day 6 opening and now here it is 3 hours later, what is wrong?? Me, my brother, and mom all registered seperately and none of us got the email!

    • My daughter and I also got a quill and “registered” and haven’t gotten the email. Their FAQ does say it may take up to 48 hours … but we’re nervous. It’s been 9 hours.

    • If you have singed up and registered, you will be on the list. Don’t worry, you will get the e-mail! 🙂

  67. This may sound dumb, but: I am so confused! Is tomorrow (August 6th) the last day, or did I miss it?! Is this post about tomorrow or how to do it today?! I need to know i love Harry Potter!
