Your generosity helped make the Holiday Party and Coins For Change a huge success! Check back on Saturday to see where your coins are headed, which you can check either here or the community blog.
Last week Club Penguin asked you which Coins For Change cause you donated to, and Bumba1 said:
I donate to all of the causes because some people aren’t as fortunate as us and I really want to make a difference. I saw what Club Penguin did last year for the kids in Haiti and I wanted to make more people happy this year. If we build shelter, people will be warmer and safer. If we donate towards saving our forests, we can save so many animal species! If we provide medical help, we can be a healthier world. I hope everyone thinks about how they are helping the less fortunate when they donate to Coins for Change. Happy holidays!
Thanks Bumba1!
With 2011 just around the corner, this week Club Penguin want to know – what are you looking forward to in the new year?
i have to add mit that the year was so great, i love what bumba1 said and hope the money goes to good places. HAPPY NEW YEAR π :p :d
I think Coins for Change is SO important! I donated a little (800 coins X2 times) to Safe Places and Forests. I dontated a little to Medical Help. But three times I donated 5000 coins to Medical Help. In my mind what’s the point of having a clean Earth or safe houses if you might die anyway? But I DO think ALL our important. I just go to medical help because I’ve learned about all theese life-threatening diseases and epidemics such as the Black Plauge and H1-N1. Places like Haiti and Africa are at high risk to theese things. I don’t even like getting sick. NO ONE DOES. I don’t want MORE people to die from theese things. If we help the Earth more animals will have more places to live, and Earth will be so much more an appealing place than cities and waste facilities. There’s more to life than that. And if we build safe places hurricanes, tornadoes, and other natural disasters won’t leave seach an impact on society and they won’t have such a toll on lives. Hurricane Katrina and the Haiti Earthquake are JUST TWO EXAMPLES. Plus people can get away from the cold, heat, diseases, plauges, and have places to live. Everything is important so donate while you can!
