Club Penguin Raises Membership Prices (USD)

As you can see title says it all.  I was going through Club Penguin Membership page and noticed that the prices for USD have gone up! While the prices aren’t appearing for everybody, for me it says:

  • Monthly $6.95
  • 6 months: $25.95
  • Year: $59.95

The new prices are different for others, as well as not appearing for some people too! Personally, I think this is a bad move on CP’s end and more penguins will cancel their membership. It’s ridiculous that Club Penguin is increasing the money for memberships, what are they trying to do ? – make it more for less members to join it soon counts up the money in months, bad idea for Club Penguin ? – Let us know please, leave us a comment!

    umm… they need the money for future plans and things so thats why they raised it up. not trying to be mean or anything but THINK!

    I think this is a bad move for Club Penguin. Less people will be buying memberships and that will lead to a temporary or even permanent shut down.

    I’m in the UK and I paid £3.95 last month but this month on my sons laptop they want £4.95 and on the same internet connection on my laptop they want £5.95 I sent an email to ask what was going on and was told about the new future plans.
    Also the option to use PayPal was missing so i said i wouldn’t be getting it again as I don’t like using my card and they sent me a link for the PayPal and guess what the price on that page was £3.95 lol so i got next months now lol if anyone wants the link let me know.
