Club Penguin Domain Issue Solution
Posted by Tech163 on June 22, 2011 under UncategoriedMany users are still unable to access Club Penguin due to the fact that their ISP has not yet updated their servers to reflect the change. One solution to fix this is to use OpenDNS. Note that if Club Penguin already works for you, feel free to ignore this post.
What is OpenDNS?
OpenDNS is a free service that can speed up propagation (the time it takes for everyone to start seeing a site). It can also speed up your overall browsing speed at times. In our case, using OpenDNS will make Club Penguin work again.
To begin using OpenDNS, please following the instructions on their site.
We recommend that kids do NOT do this without parent supervision. If you are having issues, please leave a comment with your operating system, browser, and ISP, and hopefully one of us can help you out. We may also reach out to you by email when necessary.
Even though CP is up and running, I was wondering what OpenDNS was last night. Thanks for posting!
