Posted by Ray Toolbear on August 12, 2011 under Other StuffA lot of you have realized as of lately Club Penguin has been promoting most of their new videos on Youtube. We might be wondering why would they be? Here is what we know..
Happy77 Youtube Account – Joined February 10, 2011
Clubpenguin Youtube Account – Joined April 30, 2006
Club Penguin hasn’t really been affiliated with Youtube until this year. They have officially qualified for a Youtube Partnership. If you look at the Youtube account of the official Club Penguin. They have links to register and play, which are only available to Youtube Partners.
How Do You Become Partners?
Club Penguin has been doing an experimental test with Happy77’s Youtube account. When you apply to be apart of the Youtube Partnership, you must be able to upload regularly, get sufficient views constantly. This was shown throughout the trial with Happy77s account.
What Does This Mean?
Club Penguin will eventually get PAID from Youtube if they display advertisements in their videos. We aren’t totally sure how much, but it will be a sufficient enough amount. They could also do LIVE STREAMING for special events, such as when they had the 3rd Anniversary Party in New York City.

I hope this overall clears up questions about why Club Penguin started their Youtube Channels.
