Rena oil spill!

Hey Monkeys!

EcoMom suggested that I write something on Go Bananas about an oil spill here in New Zealand that has made it hard for the people that live on the east coast of New Zealand’s North Island.

A ship called “Rena” is stuck on the Astrolabe reef. The ship hit the Astrolabe reef at 17 knots which is 30 kilometres/hour!

It is hurting the birdlife, too!

This is a terrible event for our environment and the animals and people who live here. I hope it never happens again!

Minimonos Mini-updates!

Hey monkeys!

Today minimonos updated with some small updates! lets check them out!

 

there is an extra halloween costume at traderz in the special catalog! it is a black witch!

 

there is a new flag at castle beach it says game cards and when you click on it, it will take you to a post about the game cards on the go bananas blog

 

when you want to log off just click the button and it will take  you back to the homepage.


you will notice there is a shirt by the camera button. if you click the shirt it will take you to your wardrobe where you can change your clothes

MiMonos

Hello, Monkeys.

An update has come to Minimonos, once again.

This update is called ”MiMonos”. On MiMonos, it will show your monkey, shout outs, pictures, buddies, and more! Right now, MiMonos is in the testing stage, so only MiniMods are going to be able to use it. It will be available for all monkeys in a week. If you are a minimod, you will see this in the bottom corner of your or someone else’s player card:
