Pottermore Beta Testing Announcement

The Pottermore has provided a bit more information to the public regarding ‘Beta Testing’, which will happen between now and its official release in October.

The entry to the early version of Pottermore will be staggered so it’s easier for the Pottermore team to collect feedback from users. The welcome emails will be sent out in the coming weeks. A small amount of users will receive the email, and then more will be invited later on. You will be able to login and play around once yours arrive.

As a tester, you will be able to share your thoughts on the game. It’s important for these feedback to be collected so the team knows what users are enjoying, and what should be improved. To facilitate this feedback-collection process every beta user will be sent a survey to complete with questions about the website. The collected information will be used to help make Pottermore a more enjoyable place. Best of luck to everyone on becoming one of these early testers!

In addition, registration for October will open soon. You do not need to register again if you previously verified your email during the magic quill period. We will update as more detail is revealed!

Pottermore Early Access Emails

Many (although not all) Pottermore registrants who found the magic quill have been sent an email confirming they are “one of the lucky people selected for early entry into Pottermore,’ and will have the opportunity to gain access sometime before October.

This is what the email says:

We’re really excited to confirm that you are one of the lucky people selected for early entry into Pottermore, ahead of when it is open-to-all in October, to help us add finishing touches!

We will activate your account between mid-August and the end of September, so keep checking your inbox for our Welcome email. When this arrives you will be able to enter Pottermore. In the meantime, you can check the Pottermore Insider for all the latest news, updates and announcements.

We look forward to welcoming you to Pottermore.

It doesn’t seem like anyone has access to Pottermore yet. We will be updating everyone as time goes on!

Pottermore Sneak Peeks

J. K. Rowling revealed many details about Pottermore previously in a press conference in London. Here, we have some images of what the site will look like when the actual site launches. Many people have seen these already, so this is just for those who haven’t.

What do you think about these sneak peeks? Are you excited to join Pottermore? Let us know!
